Hua Wei completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) degree from the University of Alberta in 2011 and started his articling position in January 2012. He successfully passed the UFE in 2013 and earned his Chartered Accountant designation in 2014.
Hua Wei joined PAND in 2021 after spending 9 years in local and national accounting firms. He has experience serving a wide variety of clients, including private and public corporations, not-for-profit organizations, school divisions, investment funds and government agencies. He has provided accounting, audit and taxation services to various client industries such as bioscience manufacturing, oil and gas exploration, oilfield services, construction, gym club, truck dealership, commercial and residential properties, and exempt dealer.
Hua Wei is currently serving as the Treasurer of one of the ski hills in Edmonton and has been coaching the UofA JDC West Accounting Team since 2016. Outside of work and volunteering, Hua Wei enjoys hiking and snowboarding in the Rockies.
